note to self, when camping , always wear some pest repellent, unwanted guests can ruin the experience,

Tom,I bet you get bored to tears at the fact that every time you have anything to say,up pops SD...I would love just to see if he had anything else to say off his own bat instead of following you around like a little lap dog.

"I've wrote my letter saying, I've been a good lad all year so. " I think that's a bare-faced lie which doesn't count as being good!!!

Just popped in to see what inane comment lead poisoned had made. Back on ignore now

Got my present already. An invitation to spend Christmas again with my friend who lives in the Pennines: by far my favourite place to be at Christmas.

If that is a question to me:

Pennines, I think were my first love. Ever since the age of four. From Ashbourne to Shap, put me in this territory, and I am a happy bunny. My first choice for walking, and I am planning a camp the first breath of spring weather.

Yes, it is I know odd, but I am really drawn to isolated spooky places. Addams Family's house on TV in 1960's, or Hammer Horror's Dracula's Castle on TV in 1970's - Especially if Gothic Architecture- just the sort of place I would enjoy.

PS

If you watch 'Rocky Horror Picture Show', the original movie that is, not the remake or film of stage performances, early in the piece, corresponding with the song: - "There's a light, over at the Frankenstein Place...."
There is a wonderful spooky Gothic Pile. It was owned by the studios, so a lot of Hammer Horror used the location, but rare to get the view afforded in the aforementioned.

Alas, it has been 'renovated' to now be a classy resort hotel. Needless to say, I prefered the original.
